There’s no news yet, but N800 owners who aren’t super-psyched about Google Talk or that open-source voice chat software can soon celebrate the arrival the mother of all voice chat, and yeah, I’m talkin’ ’bout Skype.

I’m getting ready to leave NYC and the Digital Experience show, but had to share one tidbit before leaving. Among the many booths I stopped at was the Nokia booth. The big news there wasn’t a new device, it was a service, and that service is Skype! It’s been a long time coming, but Skype support for the Nokia N800 is right around the corner. I got a chance to see it, but it won’t be available as a download until some time in July. The Nokia N800 already supports Gizmo for VoIP, but the addition of Skype adds more choice to make a good mobile device an even better one.

The history of this model is very interesting and directly related to the way the company changed the concept of product lines, that the company expected from future phones.By the summer of 2005, the company has increased resentment about the direction in which the design was the development of products, which then resulted in resignation as chief designer Frank Nuovo. An if not dramatic, significant changes in the approach to the creation of products, so life had to “thin” machines, their development started in mid-2005.

At this point, the company already otstavavshaya as from Samsung, and from Motorola, the concept of offering such products, began to explore the possibility of establishing such phones.

Get ready for a life more ordinary: Nokia just loosed three mid-range phones for all your middle management dreams. The 6267 (€240/$322) clamshell features dedicated music keys, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, 3G data, and up to 4GB of storage expansion you’ll have to locate yourself.

he 6121 classic (€260/$349) on the left goes quadband GSM and WCDMA 2100 and “900″ (we presume is a Nokia typo meaning 1900) with HSDPA data and packs in a couple of cameras topping out at 2 megapixels. Bringing up the tail is the budget 3500 classic (€135/$181) candybar which ships with an FM radio, 2 megapixel camera, and about 3 hours of talk time or 12 days of standby. All are expected to ship by Q3 in quiet fulfillment of your prosaic ambitions

Today, in 2007, we have more form factors than ever before, from touch-screen tablets through slide-keyboarded superphones to the buttoned extravaganza that is the Nokia E90 Communicator. One of THE chief decisions to be made when selecting your next device is whether to go touch-screen (a la iPhone or many Windows Mobile-powered designs) qwerty (e.g. the Nokia E61i or HTC Excalibur) or keypad (e.g. the Nokia N95 and N76). Summarising the choice of interfaces

At first sight, the E61i and the E90 seem to be fairly close in terms of capabilities, especially in terms of software and core functions, but the gradual one-upmanship of the new Communicator’s hardware over its flatter relative really starts to add up. Traditional PDA ‘power’ users and anyone interested in doubling up work use with multimedia will be sure to grab the E90; for everyone else, the E61i will do many of the same messaging-centric jobs at half the price - work through the table above in order to get a feel for which camp you’re in

I don’t understand why they made this phone but you will notice the fake one easily
Do you like Nokia’s N95? How about a Nokia N95 clone? The E-PDA V16, from China, looks like the N95 but it is not a slider as N95 do. Compare to the N95, the E-PDA V16 is bigger in size while the screen size is also bigger.

E-PDA V16 has a 3-inch QVGA LCD touch screen, a 3 Megapixel camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. It supports also hand-writing recognition, and dual sim cards. Come on, don’t expect the device to have WiFi as N95 do. The E-PDA V16 does support microSD memory cards. As the other ‘PDA phones’ from China, the V16 supports music and video playback.
